Scraps nominated for the Best Short Film Award at Gothenburg Film Festival

Emily Norling’s Scraps is nominated for the Best Short Film Award, Startsladden, at the 2026 edition of Gothenburg Film Festival.

Three teens disguise themselves for the ritual “Skråbock”, a local tradition of begging for Christmas leftovers. They visit their neighbours’ houses and are let in with more or less enthusiasm. But the teens hunger for more than food and explore the ritual’s limits. Scraps is a road movie by foot about a night that spirals out of control.
